treat.info was originally set up in 2009 with a grant from Gilead Sciences and Bristol-Myers Squibb with an expert panel/advisory board made up of community advocates, nurses, doctors and people living with HIV with a remit to produce a resource for PLWHIV about to start on ART.
treat.info was taken over by the lead writers in 2013 and set up as a Community interest Company registered in the UK, with three directors; Juliet Bennett, Robert Fieldhouse, and Brian West who have been working in community advocacy for over 10 years.
treat.info provides a range of resources to support people living with HV and help you start on ARV treatment. You’ll find us in many European countries providing group training and one to one sessions – with our strong network of local HIV community groups.
The toolkit and resources are regularly reviewed and updated by an expert board and medical professional to ensure the information is accurate and relevant.
